    09/10/2018

As part of its interest in developing its services through the use of modern electronic technologies, Asharqia Chamber added a new electronic feature for the beneficiaries of the Jobs Fair 2018, which would be organized by the Chamber under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, during the period 22-25 October 2018, in cooperation with the Dhahran International Exhibitions Company (Dhahran Expo).

The new feature - which is mandatory - is allowing beneficiaries and applicants to register electronically at the exhibition through an electronic platform for pre-registration. This feature allows the student to enter the exhibition directly and tour between the companies and institutions without having to bring the CV to submit, as all information in the CV will be pre-existing on the platform associated with all exhibitors.

In this context, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that the Chamber has always taken advantage of all that is new in all fields to keep pace with the development of all services.

He is pointing out that the Chamber will not stop keeping pace with technical development and use it to serve the beneficiaries of its services.

He stressed that this new service will preserve the effort and time to applicants, so that they can review the appropriate career opportunities for them easily.

Al-Khalidi said that the early registration service means that all information for applicants will be within the database of participating companies directly, which is enabling them to select competencies and communicate with them directly without the need for paperwork.

This edition of the exhibition is going to be held with the participation of a number of companies, institutions and governmental and private entities that are concerned with the development of human resources, and would take place at Dhahran Expo.

Al Khalidi explained that the exhibition aims to support the efforts of localization of jobs in the private sector, and to highlight the role of the business sector in attracting national talent through providing job opportunities for Saudi youth, and communication between the business sector on the one hand, training and employment service providers and specialists in human resource management and employment on the other, and between these bodies and job seekers from a third party.

The Job Fair is an important channel for job seekers that open the door for national talent, which is looking for job opportunities to highlight their energy, to achieve their personal aspirations, and to support development options, as a start of the importance of the human element.

The Chamber also looks forward to achieving more successes as more than 20 thousand job seekers visited last year Job Fair, amid the great interest of participating companies and beneficiaries.

The number of participants in the exhibition was about 138 companies and institutions provided more than 7 thousand jobs.

This is in addition to the prominent participation by some prominent governmental bodies including, The Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, Human Resources Development Fund, and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage
